i have to say i will never be using tesco photos again, i ordered offline and nearly a week passed before i received prints, as to which one half were mine and other half someone elses which means that my other half went to some one else. the photos i had recieved of mine half of them had the head chopped off. so i rang and they told me that they would be sent out again and to send received ones back! i made a complaint as i was really not happy that photos of my kids had gone to someone else, you dont know who had received them! tesco told me complaint would be recorded but nothing further could be done. its really bad that its been treated like this.

I took in 11 disposable cameras from my wedding last week, the customer service was poor from the start. They had no paper to print the photos so told me I'd have to have the pictures put on a disc ( which was fine as I prefer to have them on the pc anyway) however the charge for putting them on the disc was £1.97 per film plus the 99p developing charge, and they said each film would have to go on a seperate disc. So I paid the money then was told it could take 2 or 3 days.

When we eventually got the discs back the picture quality was appalling. I know that disposable cameras aren't brilliant anyway, but these pictures are dreadful, half of them were backwards, I've had to flip them on photoshop. There are scratches on the pictures, smudges, and also dust etc. All of the pictures are cloudy.

The pictures were numbered yet on each disc the numbers jumped, not one of the films developed was a complete set of 1-24, each had pictures missing with one only having 6 pictures on, even though I'd checked beforehand to make sure all the cameras were fully used.

I will never use Tescos to develop any of my pictures again, and I most definately will not recommend anyone else use them.

The layout was quite confusing at first; the uploader took up quite a bit of my laptop's RAM, so it lagged a little - but bearable.

Please bear in mind to CHECK and ADJUST each of your uploaded photos; otherwise the edges of the photos might get trimmed off.

Quality not as good as Photobox etc and the delivery cost is one of the highest I've seen - not really worth it if you can get faster, better quality services elsewhere! Nevertheless, those free prints were worth it.

Inorder to test the waters I ordered 50 prints using the free credits. Looking at the prints, I wonder how any customer would repeat business with tescophoto. Except for 3 photos every photo was cropped. I would rather pay a few quid for better quality rather than seeing these cropped images. I would not recommend tesco to anyone.

I asked for 4 pictures to be made to A4 size. They offered a slightly smaller version but I thought ok. I picked the pictures up today and 1 was completely black and the other 3 were completely distorted and stretched!! The photo of my dog was unrecognisable as his head had been stretched and then half his head cut off, thus losing the actually picture and the much the same with the other 2 pictures. This was not a difficult request as I usually print off my own pictures. As these pictures were for a competition I decided to let Tesco print them.............big mistake!! I am taking them back today for a refund and will also take in an A4 picture of how they should have looked printed from my home computer!! Its not difficult, set the picture so it is not stretched and distorted and then make bigger!! Never again, I have now sent my pictures to PhotoBox and hope they do a better job!!!

Well, I`ve had to put worst appraisal, specifically on ease of use, because I found the upload site to be a nightmare!
Having spent literally hours uploading and cropping 200 photos, I repeatedly attempted to reach the checkout, without success.
Though I checked and re-checked my details(credit card info. etc.) I kept getting a vague, useless message that my card could not be accepted, even though it is entirely valid, and I have been using it elsewhere since, without any problems.
Though I found the customer service staff to be, initially, pillar - to- post syndrome, with their different phone lines, the adviser I finally spoke to was very attentive, and I have no doubt he did, indeed, spend time trying to remedy the technical problem, but the last word I heard was, they were still working to rectify the technical issue, and, as a show of courtesy, my complimentary 50 prints would be doubled.
Unfortunately, on logging onto my account, there are no additional credits, but, to be honest, even if I HAD had my credits doubled, what use would that be, when the site won`t accept my card?!
Relucatantly, I admit defeat, and shall have to look
elsewhere..

I used tesco to print out my 50 photos I had from my first year at university. I thought having them printed would be nice, and not just stuck in a file on my laptop. The prints were easy to upload and organise, they delivered fairly quickly and the photos were clear. Id definately use tesco again.

I'm a photographer putting on my first exhibition, and decided to use Tesco Photo for my prints, as I've used them before, and was happy with their quality.

The exhibition was to be on the 28th of October, and so about a month before the exhibition I placed my first order for prints, and waited for delivery. A week later I was told one of the files uploaded was corrupted, and so they cancelled the entire order. Fortunately I'd given myself a month to get the prints done for exactly this eventuality. I re-uploaded the corrupt image, and placed another order.

On the next order, a different image was corrupt, even though I'd already submitted exactly the same set of files. After two or so hours of calls to Tesco Customer support, who were occasionally rude and often unhelpful I finally managed to find someone who said they'd look into it. His advice was to reupload all the images, which I did. I then placed another order, split in two this time, figuring I could at least get some of the images.

A week later, on the 21st of October, half the photos arrived. I called to ask about the whereabouts of the others, and was told 'they'd been dispatched'. Later that day I received an email saying there was a problem with the order. Calling back, I discovered that the order had never been printed, nevermind dispatched. I was told at first that the image file had a virus (which was near impossible), or that a virus had entered the file as it was uploaded (also impossible).

Worst of all, I was informed that Tesco knew of the error a week ago, on the 13th of October. There was no indication of this anywhere on the website, nor was I informed when I called to enquire about the prints.

To add insult to injury, many of the photos never arrived, 'lost in the post,' although I wouldn't be surprised if they were lost somewhere in Tesco's incompetence.

I've now had to pay a very expensive, local print service a lot of money to get my prints done as a rush job. Don't trust Tescos if you want something on time and without hassle. I'm just glad these weren't for some special occasion, like some poor guy's wedding or something similar.

I requested 28 photo placemats to be printed for a family wedding anniversary. The process takes 2 weeks according to the website - however the mats were never printed and consequently never delivered to the tesco store for my collection. The first I knew about this was when I went to collect the placemats.

I would not trust this company to print out anything in future, and I would not recommend them to anyone else.
