We ordered photo books on 25th November 2011. It was dispatched on 28th. Then we contacted them for the package and they told us that we have rejected it. Obviously we have not done it. We asked them for the details of the package so we can contact UPS and get the package but they told us to wait till it is returned to them and they will either resend it or refund it as we wamt.
We contacted 3 days before Christmas again letting them know that there is no point sending this to us as we will not be able to get it. One day later they sent it again. When we got back 2 weeks later the package was waiting for us. There was no need for a signitature so I do not understand what was this game with the first deliverey (if there was a delivery.)
Their customer support is rubbish. They speak French and use some kind of online translator to send English mails which are impossible to understand. You cannot communicate to them.
And I have to agree with Emma that the picture quality is poor.

I ordered a Poster print and when it arrived i could have been sick, in all my life as a photographer, it was the worst print quality i have ever seen, i contacted there customer service dept who asked if i could take a picture of the print, i emailed it and heard nothing, i sent them four emails and today i finaly spoke with them. i was told the email had no attachments, god knows how that happened, anyway i have resent the email and i have also asked for a full refund, they try to avoid this, thats why i am telling you all, never use them, the local ASDA, TESCO etc can produce better prints.

Avoid at all Costs

Similar experience to others - photos take a while and then the whole order doesn't arrive. Waiting for 3 weeks for 2 panoramic photos. E-mailed them, but no reply. Appalling.

Website states 48 hours to despatch and a total of 4 days to arrive. My order however took just under 3 weeks. photos are developed in france.

The quality of the prints could have been better. There were lines of colour made by the printer. Also it doesnt print the name of your photo on the back. They also only take credit cards.

I emailed when chasing my order and got a vague standard response but they encouraged me to ring their 10p a minute phone line!

Another rip off is the £1.70 processing fee, this is to help them recoup the costs of having to post abroad.

It is also weird that they don't do 8x10 prints.

I would not recommend this company, only order is you are in no hurry.

I placed an order of prints only on 15.5.07 and they are stll being "processed". The site claims it will take 48 hours but it is now a week and a day later!. The postage costs are high and the processing fee of £1.70 on top of postage is a rip off. I have emailed them and they apologised but gave no reason or expected date for them to be despatched. They promted me to call their 10 pence a minute helpline. Also you can only pay by credit card, I didn't know my secure code and my whole order was lost. So I had to resubmit it.

I would recommend photobox.co.uk, I placed my order before 4pm and it arrived in the post the next day and no "processing fee" either.

There is a reason this website offers products at a cheaper price than anywhere else - the quality of the products is very poor, and the customer service is useless.

I ordered a pack of photos, but before confirming my order, I realised I hadn't entered my full address, so I went back to the beginning of the order process and re-entered my address. On confirming this order, I looked at my account summary and found two orders on my account. The first order had been added to my account even though I didn't confirm it! I contacted mypixmania customer service immediately to let them know the problem, and asked them to cancel the first one. They replied with "the order has already been processed so we cannot cancel it". So I had to pay for the same order twice. Surely if it was a problem with their own system then they could provide a refund for their own mistake.

Then I ordered a glass photo cube, but when I received it, the quality of the photo was appalling. It is so dotted and spaced out that it hardly looks like the photo I submitted. And the photo I gave was 7.2 megapixels, so it wasn't a problem with the photo quality, simply the printing quality from the company.

Finally, I ordered a magic mug. The photo I wanted on the mug had a date printed in the corner which I cropped out using their online personalisation facility. I specifically spent ages doing this, and checked it several times, because I knew I didn't want the date printed on the mug. I received the mug a few days later with the entire photo on the mug, ie. not cropped! So they had made another mistake. I emailed the customer service again and they said that it was my fault, I hadn't cropped the photo and that it's the customer's responsibility to ensure the cropping is done before ordering. They refused to accept that there had been a problem with their system, and refused to give me any compensation. On top of that, the quality of the mug was poor, with random bumps and lumps on the surface where it should be smooth. Even where the photo is printed, it is bumpy and looks terrible. And still mypixmania could not do anything about it.

Overall I have had terrible experiences with mypixmania and have finally learnt my lesson, and will never shop with them every again. I strongly recommend that whoever reads this does not shop with this website, and spread the word around. Their prices are not great, their delivery costs are high because they are based in France, and the products are poor quality. Also, their customer service is appalling, and the responses (if they respond!) often don't make sense because they are foreign. Please stay away from them!

Do not shop with mypixmania!!!!!
